The celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation typically takes place in the spring of a teenager's 8th-grade year. The Diocese requires a two-year preparation process, usually occurring during their 7th and 8th grade years. 

All second-year Confirmation students attend a weekend retreat at The Pines Catholic Camp. The Faith Formation Office will send registration information directly to you. High school teens preparing for Confirmation participate in the C.R.E.W. High School Retreat at DCYC (Dallas Catholic Youth Conference).

For youth who have not participated in Faith Formation or have not yet received their Sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, and/or First Holy Communion, please contact Bruce Baumann to learn more about our OCIY (Order of Christian Initiation for Youth) program.
