Renewal is required annually for all volunteers and staff. It can also be completed by attending an in-person session, such as the usher training at our parish, or by completing it online.
For Current Staff and Existing Volunteers: Use the instructions below from the Diocese of Dallas if you have previously been cleared through the Safe Environment program.
Log on to www.virtusonline.org
Click on the “Need Help Login” button.
Follow the instructions to locate your record. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER AS A NEW REGISTRANT. This will create a duplicate record for you.
When your record is located, you may change your “User ID” and Password and proceed to your dashboard.
Once logged on, please complete the Protecting God's Children 4.0 training video when prompted. This is a required online training for volunteers or staff members, and you will be prompted to watch it once your annual Safe Environment renewal is due.
Please note that online courses may take up to one week to be reported as completed. If you have completed an online course more than one week ago and it does not appear in the Virtus Online dashboard, please don't hesitate to contact Jerry Waynant.
